Zadi’s News • November 20th, 2018
From October 18, 2018 to January 1, 2019 GKS (company part of Zadi group based in Dusseldorf) will have the collaboration of two trainees from the school “Berufskolleg Werther Brücke” (BKWB) in Wuppertal. The students from BKWB Institute are Mr. Cuka and Mr. Heinemann.
L’ESPERIENZA DI LAVORO IN GKS
They are working in GKS twice a week, for the remaining time they are doing the normal school schedule. The work that they are doing is updating and improving the efficiency of the key assembling production line.
The main reason to make this project is: Update the old production line.
WHY IS THIS PROJECT SO IMPORTANT FOR GKS?
This project has been created for some production part numbers, that have been discarted. Then they have to update the production line to be in line with production flow and process. They are applying the Time Measurement system (MTM) in combination with different kind of tables and tools. The actual status of the production line is saved and then they will make different proposals that will be able to improve the production.
- They will create a Time analysis for each production department
- They will create a flow time chart for the different products categories
- They will provide to GKS an assigned time for each process
- They will create a layout of the new production line.
All this information collected by the trainees will help GKS to improve the production cost and capacity. They are giving to GKS also some suggestion regarding ergonomics and safety improvements.
We would like to thank Mr. Cuka and Mr. Hainemann for the commitment and interest in this project, Mr Schmidt who’s the Responsible person from the school BKWB, and Mr. Lopez who’s the Responsuble of the training in GKS.
